Shipping policy

The Hairy House uses Canada Post for shipping.

I primarily ship items via Standard Oversize Letter mail. This is a very affordable way to receive your package and I have had great success using this method through Canada Post. This provides no tracking and I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages but will do my best to work with you if there is an issue. All International Packages must ship via parcel post.

There is an option for parcels to include tracking information if you wish to choose this method at checkout. This comes with basic insurance and your package can be tracked. 

Delivery times are number of business days on route and can occasionally be longer due to circumstances beyond my control.

How long will it take for me to receive my order?
We strive very hard to ship orders out within 1-3 business days and up to 5-7 business days for any custom work added to products. We regret that same-day shipping is not available. US orders are generally delivered within 14-21 business days, and orders within Canada usually arrive in 7-10 business days. Shipping times are not guaranteed and there may be occasional delays beyond our control, including customs.

 Customs / Duties / Brokerage / Other 

International customers may be required to pay applicable customs/duties/brokerage or other import-related fees depending on your country's import regulations. This is beyond our control and may delay delivery of your package. Customers are responsible for all customs and duties. Refunds are not provided for abandoned packages.
